Is anyone able to join?
Yes, all current Luther students are able to join. We have open tryouts at the beginning of the Fall Semester. All skill-levels are welcome. Our team consists of a wide-range of players from beginners, recreation players, and previous club experience.
Is there a player fee?
Yes. There is a player fee of $170 for new players, $70 for returning players. This fee covers your jersey (2 jersey tops, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 warm-up/practice top) that you get to keep. This fee also helps cover part of the team conference registration fee.
Are there any other fees with the club?
No. Aside from the player fee, there are no other fees associated with joining to club team.
What are some requirements once you join the team?
We have two requirements for the team, the first is the requirement to fundraise. Each player has a fundraising goal to meet in order to help cover travel, meals, and equipment expenses. The second is the commitment to attend all practices and tournaments.
When are practices?
Practices are scheduled for Sunday's 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday's and Thursday's 8:00 - 10:00 PM.
